3. Why did we redesign the web site?
To take advantage of advances in evolving
web technology. To make it more intuitive to use. To make it more user-friendly.

We have over 6000 web files. It takes time to apply the new template. We
hope to complete the conversion by the end of December 2004.

That page lists all the subject specialists (bibliographers) and their contact
information.
9. What impact has the redesign had on the CHINOOK library catalog?
ALL the features of Chinook have been retained -- and expanded. Many enhancements
have been made to extend the search process.
10. What happened to the e-Resource A-Z and Subject lists on CHINOOK's main
page?
They have been incorporated into Find Articles and More.
This move was made to reflect the fact that in addition periodical indexes
and abstracts there are directories, encyclopedias, dictionaries and other
reference works.
11. What is MY CHINOOK?
This is your option to view your record, reserve books, set preferred
searches, modify your PIN via a secure server.
12. Where do I find new and trial databases?

13. How do I use CHINOOK to locate online resources?
Use the new "Electronic Collections" search feature in Chinook.

A listing of new materials cataloged into the Libraries collections. Updated
