Video Collection
Norlin Library's Video Collection is located on Norlin's second floor behind the Circulation Desk in the study area. Videos may be checked out for one week to individuals. Videos placed on Reserve are available at the Circulation Desk.
The Video Collection contains a wide range of mainstream, esoteric, foreign and educational films in DVD and on Blu-Ray formats. Three DVD/VHS players are located adjacent to the collection.
All DVD and Blue-ray items are secured with plastic cases which must be unlocked by Circulation Desk staff before they can be used. This means that most DVDs cannot be used even "in house" unless they are checked out at the desk.
Older VHS and LaserDisc formats are located off-site at PASCAL. Requests for PASCAL-based items are filled withing two work days.
Use Chinook's Advanced Keyword Search to locate videorecordings by specific format. |
