William M. White Business Library

Overview

Collections include study and research materials for management and administration, accounting, advertising, banking, finance, small business and entrepreneurship, marketing, real estate and transportation.  Also included are some works in the behavioral sciences, quantitative methodology, economics and computer applications.

Corporate reports

The library houses corporate annual shareholder reports from 1980 to 1994 on microfiche for all companies on the New York and American Stock Exchanges.  SEC 10-K reports for Colorado and Fortune 500 companies (1980 - 1994) are also available on microfiche. Lexis Nexis Academic includes annual shareholder and 10-K reports and proxy statements for all companies on primary U.S. exchanges from 1994 to present.

Collection statistics

The collection presently contains over 80,000 monographs and bound journals and more than 160,000 microforms. The library subscribes to over 660 current periodicals, with articles from over 200 more periodicals via various full-text electronic databases:

Electronic Resources

The Douglas H. Buck Electronic Media Center and the business library provide access to over 50 online databases including ABI/INFORM Global, Business Source Premier, EIU reports and data, Mergent Online, Thomson Research, LEXIS/NEXIS, National Trade Data Bank, BNA Tax Management Library, Business and Company Resource Center, Hoover’s Online, Marketresearch.com Academic, Standard and Poor’s Net Advantage, and many others.  Additional business databases are available at ucblibraries.colorado.edu/business
