About Us

The Leonard H. Gemmill Engineering Library is named after one of the university's very successful alumni. Mr. Gemmill earned his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering here at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1941.

The Library offers a wide array of services to support students, staff and faculty, including in-class instruction and video tutorials, reserves, and phone, email and walk-in reference. The staff includes two Libraries faculty members, two Libraries staff members (one with a graduate degree in library science and another currently pursuing a graduate degree in library science), and several student assistants.
