Biography

Suzanne has been the Faculty Director of the Earth Sciences Library since 1988. She has been the Faculty Director of the Math Physics Library since 2003. Currently she is also the acting Faculty Director of the Science Library. Previously, she held positions at Adams State College (Alamosa, CO), Colorado School of Mines (Golden, CO) and the Department of Energy Library (Grand Junction, CO). Suzanne is most interested in teaching effective use of databases and research strategies to all levels of users. She has been active in the GeoScience Information Society (GSIS) since 1988. She has held several offices and was elected President of the Society in 2007. She has served on the GeoRef Advisory Committee of the American Geological Institute since 1997. She received her BA in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1971) and her Master of Arts in Librarianship from the University of Denver (1973). She has also completed work toward a Master's degree in history at the University of Colorado.
