I am the chemistry and life sciences librarian at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where I have been employed since 1995. I received my Bachelors in Earth Science from Youngstown State University, a Masters in Basic Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and my MLS from Emporia State University. As a science librarian, I have held positions at the USEPA, the US Bureau of Mines, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. My research interests include: the impacts of open access publishing on the academy, the librarian's role in developing institutional repositories, research data as part of institutional repositories, and the impact of e-science on library support services and collection development.
