Privileges

Join the Friends of the Libraries and receive additional privileges not available to Public Patrons. Friends of the Libraries membership qualifies you for unlimited renewals as well as trace and recall privileges. Privileges are valid for one year. Once you have become a Friend of the Libraries, please bring your acknowledgment letter and a Colorado photo ID or driver's license to the Circulation area located in Norlin Library on the first floor. After registering at Norlin Library for borrowing privileges, you may check books out from any of the University of Colorado at Boulder Libraries, except the Law Library. You will also receive notification of all Friends events.

Loan Periods	28 days except short term 5 reserves 50 items max	28 days except short term 5 reserves 20 items max
Renewals	unlimited -- except for items recalled by other patrons	one time add'l 28 days
Recalls	privileges apply	no privileges 10 days to return recalled item
Traces	privileges apply	no privileges

Parking is available at the Euclid Parking Garage or the parking facility at Colorado and Regent Drive.
