Search Tools and Subject Directories

small arrow Search the Libraries Website

Use search tools to look for information on the Web using keywords which appear in pages and page descriptions. The search tools are based on an automatic indexing of keywords and phrases. Online dictionaries, thesauri, and encyclopedias can help you identify related terms to broaden your search.

Use subject directories when you want to browse for information by topic. Directories are compilations of web resources organized in topics by human editors.
