- Bureau of Labor Statistics provides access to monthly publications, reference materials, and data, including:
- Monthly Labor Review
- Compensation and Working Conditions
- Career Guide to Industries that "provides information on available careers by industry, including the nature of the industry, training and advancement, working conditions, employment, occupations in the industry....discusses over 42 industries, accounting for 7 out of every 10 wage and salary jobs in 1998."
- Foreign Labor Statistics (FLS) program provides international comparisons of hourly compensation costs; productivity and unit labor costs; labor force, employment and unemployment rates; and consumer prices. The comparisons relate primarily to the major industrial countries, but other countries are included in certain measures.
- Labor-related data such as employment and unemployment, working conditions, and compensation. Consult the Surveys & Programs menu.
- Occupational Outlook Handbook "Revised every 2 years, the Handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations."

- National, state, and metropolitan area wage and employment data is available from Occupational Employment and Wage Estimates.
- Chartbook of International Labor Comparisons: United States, Europe, and Asia
"This chartbook focuses on the labor market situation in countries in the 1990s and the most current year for which international comparable data
are available." The charts include the United States (U.S.) and selected 19 countries in Asia and Europe for which suitable data are available.
