  • Clinton Presidential Materials Project --The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has created a selected electronic archive ofthe White House website as it appeared during the administration of Pres. Clinton. This archive consists of four "snapshots" of the website as it appeared from 1994 to January of 2001 and a search feature to locate presidential publications. Additional materials from the presidency of William J. Clinton are available in Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents and Public Papers of the Presidents of the United States
  • Cybercemetery "The University of North Texas Libraries and the U.S. Government Printing Office, as part of the Federal Depository Library Program, created a partnership to provide permanent public access to the electronic Web sites and publications of the following defunct U.S. government agencies and commissions. This collection was named the "Cybercemetery" by early users of the site."
  • Internet Archive Wayback Machine "puts the history of the World Wide Web at your fingertips. The Archive contains over 100 terabytes and 10 billion web pages archived from 1996 to the present." Features special collections on Election 2000, the United States Government, and September 11. Enter a URL in the search box, to view earlier versions of web sites.
  • NARA Access to Archival Databases (AAD) created by NARA, ADD is an online access to a selection of nearly 50 million historic electronic records published by more than 20 federal agencies on a wide range of topics. A few data files were originally created as early as the 19th century. However, most of the electronic records in NARA's holdings have been created since the 1960s. Documents in AAD have been categorized into the area of All series, People, Indexes to Other Records, Subject, Geographic Areas, Organization, Time Spans, and Creator.   • UK Web Archiving Consortium is a consortium of six leading UK institutions working collaboratively on a project to develop a test-bed for selective archiving of UK websites.
  • Web Harvest 2004 NARA conducted a harvest of Federal Agency public web sites as they existed prior to January 20, 2005. This harvest was intended to document Federal agencies' presence on the World Wide Web at the time that the Presidential Administration term ended in early 2005.
