During construction a number of Norlin's journals and serials will not be physically accessible to our patrons. However, we are working to maintain as much access as possible to the content of our periodicals collection. You will be able to request copies of specific articles and journals by following the steps below:

Searching for a journal/ serial via Chinook
If you have searched Chinook for a particular journal/ serial, and you encounter the location: 'Request an Electronic Copy' choose one of the following:
Request a specific article
- Click on 'Request Electronic Copy' from the Chinook record. Example:
- Complete the Article Finder Form with specific citation detail. [More
information on deciphering citations]. Example:

- Select 'Find Article' button.
- Next, look for the full text in the 'Find it at CU' window. The Find it at CU window, will determine if you can access the article in full text or if you need to request an electronic copy.
- If available electronically, retrieve by selecting a link to full text.

Example:
- If the article you need is not available in full text, choose Interlibrary Loan.

Example:

- Enter your identikey and password.
- Check citation detail.
- Submit request.
- You will receive an email when the material is available.
If you are having any difficulty with article retrieval, please Ask US.
Request an entire volume
For entire volumes that display the location PASCAL, you may request the material via Chinook. For more details, go to 'How to Request Materials from PASCAL'.
If you want to request an entire volume that displays the location REQUEST ELECTRONIC COPY, you may request the material using Illiad. To do so, follow the directions below.
- Login using your identikey user name and password
NOTE: if you have not used Illiad before you will need to complete the contact details with the initial login.
- Choose 'Request a Loan'. Example:

- Enter details for the volume needed
- Submit Request

- You may login to Illiad to check on the status of your request any time. Look for:
Request multiple volumes of one journal/serial
To request a number of volumes, contact the circulation department. 303-492-7477 (ph)
Waiting for an article (more than 3 business days)
If you have been waiting for an article request more than 3 business days, please contact the Interlibrary Loan Department for assistance:
