How do I... Recall an Item that is Checked Out?
CU affiliates (students, staff and faculty) can recall books or other items that are checked out to someone else. If Chinook, the CU library catalog, shows that the item you want is checked out, you have a few options for recalling the item:
- Online, via Chinook: If you find an item that is checked out, you can recall the book yourself by clicking the "Request It" button at the top of the screen
- In person: At the Circulation Desk (Located on the second floor of Norlin Library)
- By phone: Call the Circulation Desk at (303) 492-7477
- By email: Email the Circulation Desk at email@example.com (Make sure to include the call number of the item to be recalled and your ID number)
