What We Loan
The University of Colorado at Boulder lends most formats to Greater Western Library Alliance libraries. Non-GLWA libraries may request photocopies up to 50 pages; book loans; theses and dissertations available in hard copy; most newspapers on microfilm; maps; government publications, and DVDs and VHS tapes. Dissertations have been available from UMI since 1995. 2005 and newer dissertations may only be available from UMI. Six reels of microfilm may be requested on one request.
UCB Libraries does not lend serials (except newspapers on microfilm); microfiche or microprint; music CDs; CD-ROM or restricted electronic resources; Special Collections, Archives, or Reference materials.
Book loans or photocopies to GWLA, Rapid, Colorado libraries, and reciprocal partners are free. Book loans or photocopies to non-reciprocal libraries within the contiguous 48 states cost $15 IFM. Book loans and photocopies to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico cost $20 IFM. Book loans or photocopies to overseas libraries cost $30 IFM, or 4 IFLA vouchers.
