To find articles, use the databases and indexes that the library provides. Choose the database you want from our alphabetical list or explore the subject lists for different disciplines. We have highlighed a few important databases for architecture and environmental design below.
Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals
The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals indexes more than 2,000 periodicals published worldwide on architecture, archaeology, city planning, interior design, historic preservation, urban planning, and landscape architecture. Coverage is from the 1930s (with selective coverage dating back to the 1740s) to the present. The Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals is updated daily. a wide range of disciplines, reflecting
recent advances in light of growing
evidence regarding global environmental
change and destruction. Ecology
Abstracts focuses on how organisms
of all kinds - microbes, plants,
and animals - interact with their
environments and with other organisms.
Included are relevant papers on
evolutionary biology, economics,
and systems analysis as they relate
to ecosystems or the environment.
Some articles are available full
Multidisciplinary database supplying bibliographic information and abstracts for human and physical geography, ecology, geology, oceanography, geomechanics and development studies. The database provides current coverage of over 1,800 journals. Coverage: 1994 - present.
