  • MIRAGE -- Geologic Maps of Canada
    MIRAGE (Map Image Rendering DAtabase for GEoscience) is a digital image library of Geological Survey of Canada maps. The GSC has published thousands of maps since the mid-1800's. More than 10,000 of these maps have been scanned and are available.
  • Tapestry of Time and Terrain
    This interactive site allows the user to digitally combine geologic and topographic maps of the United States by state or physiographic regions.
  • USGS List of Digital State Geologic Maps, from the Mineral Resources Program.
  • USGS National Geologic Map Database
    A database created by U.S. Geological Survey to serve as a national archive containing geologic maps and related publications. The database contains geologic, geophysical, geochemical, geochronologic, and paleontologic information.
  • USGS National Seismic Hazard Maps
    Part of the Earthquake Hazards program. The USGS provides seismic hazard assessments for the U.S. and areas around the world.
  • PaleoMap Project
    Illustrates the plate tectonic development of the ocean basins and continents during the past 1100 million years.
