UCB Libraries

Planning and Promotions

Planning and Promotions and the Design and Exhibits Office sustains the Libraries pride of place on campus through support for Libraries planning activities; coordination of Libraries promotional activities, including events, displays, exhibits, and art shows; management of the Libraries art collection; and coordination of communications about the Libraries to the campus, community, media, and library profession.

The goal of promotional activities in the Libraries is to keep the University community, general public, and Libraries personnel informed of Libraries materials, services, opportunities, and policies and to position the Libraries as an integral intellectual and cultural resource on the campus.

An objective of displays, exhibits, and art shows in Norlin is to provide an inclusive window on the changing human experience and sustain social memory. As a forum for the free exchange of ideas, the Planning and Promotions Office welcomes comments and responses.
