Periodicals Collection
Located in the Research & Instruction Department on Norlin's second floor, the Periodicals Collection contains general magazines, foreign and domestic newspapers, and journals in the social sciences and humanities disciplines. Please be aware that specialized library departments, such as the Art & Architecture Collection and the Science Library, house their own specialized journals.
Research & Instruction staff are available to provide assistance using Chinook, the library catalog, to identify collection holdings and searching periodical-related databases.
Bound journals may be checked out at Norlin's first floor Circulation Desk for a period of two days to University of Colorado faculty, staff and students. Unbound issues may be checked out in limited quantities by faculty, staff and graduate students for overnight use only. This can be done at the Reference Desk. Journals may not be recalled, held, or renewed.
