includes The Catalog of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and G.K.Hall's Annual Index to Black Periodicals (1988-1998).
CETEDOC Library of Christian Latin Texts
with translations in English, French, German, and Italian. 1996 and 2000.
Cross-Cultural CDs
are a series of topical databases derived from the Human Relations Area Files (HRAF). The resources cover 60 different societies from around the world and span the 19th and 20th centuries. The full text excerpts come from over 1,000 reference sources in the fields of anthropology, sociology and psychology.
Encyclopaedia of Islam
contains volumes 1-9 (A-S) of the printed version of the Encyclopaedia of Islam with all the figures, drawings, genealogical tables and maps, and indexes. It allows for searches in both English and Arabic transcriptions.
IBR (International Bibliography of Book Reviews of Scholarly Literature)
is an international index to book reviews in many languages. Current disc only.
Index to American Periodicals
is a topical index to articles published in American periodicals in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The articles are reproduced in the American Periodical Series, a microfilm collection which is available in the Media Library.
International Index to Performing Arts
provides access to articles published in performing arts journals.
Palmer's Index to The Times
comprises Samuel Palmer's complete index to The Times from October 1790 to December 1905.
Wellesley Index to Victorian Periodicals 1824 - 1900
provides access to printed sources of Victorian thought and opinion; covers articles on politics, religion, economics, art, science, archaeology, and philosophy. It is also a source for research in women's writing.
