Many of the online newspaper databases that the library subscribes to may not have breaking news from newspapers as quickly as other resources. If you're looking for up-to-the-minute breaking news, try the freely available Internet-based sources below.

Online News Aggregators

Yahoo! News: Yahoo! compiles breaking news from a variety of sources, and separates it into a variety of different categories (U.S., Business, World, etc.) or news types (including opinion, local news, photos, comics, etc.)

 

Google News: Google compiles breaking news from a variety of sources and categorizes the stories (Top Stories, World, U.S. Business, etc.). You can customize the appearance of your Google News page or set up email news alerts.
