About SciFinder Scholar 2006

SciFinder Scholar 2006 is a comprehensive chemical database accessing chemistry literature from 1907 to the present and medical literature (MEDLINE) from 1967 to the present.

 

Searching is easy and can be done by structure, substance name, molecular formula, substructure, patent number, author, keyword, and chemical abstracts registry number.

How to Access SciFinder Scholar

• SciFinder Scholar is available only to UCB faculty, graduate students, post-doctoral, and undergraduate students. 
  
  

• SciFinder Scholar is installed on computers in the Science Library (located in Norlin Library), the Math/Physics Library, the Earth Sciences Library, and the Engineering Library.
  
  

• Faculty, graduate students, and post-doc's can request desktop access to SciFinder Scholar. The access is IP controlled and connections must be made through the University of Colorado at Boulder. This database may be used off-campus via VPN software. For desktop access please email the Science Library at sci@colorado.edu.
