Rice University's depository of educational materials. The materials cross all disciplines and languages. Materials are not specific to libraries or information literacy.


CORIL

Collection of instruction tools sponsored by the Ontario Council of University Libraries.


Directory of Online Resources for Information Literacy
Developed in 1997, a comprehensive list of information literacy materials available on the web. Excellent site with all things related to Information Literacy, including: standards, assignments, conferences, listservs, assessment, and more. The directory is supported by the School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

 

EDNA

Australia's online network for educators. The resources page includes research and resource sharing in a number of topic areas, including: ICT research.

 

Hoax Websites

List of websites useful in teaching evaluation of online material and information.

LOEX- Library Orientation Exchange
Non-profit clearinghouse for all things related to information literacy.

 

Merlot

Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching. The site includes learning materials, best practices, and communication venues for professionals in education and online learning.

OhioLink Instruction Clearinghouse

A compilation of Ohio libraries' tutorials, both general and database or discipline specific.

Primo- Peer Reviewed Instruction Materials Online
Site maintained and established by the Instruction Section of ALA/ACRL. Development of the site began in 1993, with the intention of establishing and sharing modals of instruction. Provides awards and recognition to notable instruction development within libraries, including a monthly Site of the Month.

 

Problem-Based Learning Clearinghouse
Developed at the University of Delaware, this clearinghouse provides a depository of problems and articles on the use of problem-based learning. The problems include strategies, teacher notes, and other supplemental material. Use of the clearinghouse requires registration, but access is free.

TLT Group- Teaching, Learning, and Technology
Organization established to help institutions and individuals improve teaching and learning with technology. Some free shared resources and discussions on assessment, promotion, and implementation of information literacy.

 

International Information Literacy Resource Directory
IFLA and Unesco have partnered to call on librarians worldwide to share and collaborate on information literacy. At this time, use of the database requires you to register.
