Statement on Information Literacy
As a campus partner in the educational mission of the University of Colorado at Boulder, the University Libraries promotes information literacy through instructional programs designed to foster a sense of research independence within a collaborative learning environment.
Our mission is to help members of the campus community develop their conceptual understanding of information and information sources, as well as obtain information retrieval and analysis skills appropriate for their individual levels of scholarship and research needs. The learning objectives of our instruction programs are directly linked to the campus' Student Digital Literacy Goals.
