Description
Books by William Faulkner, Hemingway and others published in a variety of languages.

Description

Creighton Collection
Description
Books and pamphlets on religion and history, mostly nineteenth century English publications, with a few French and German imprints. The subject matter is primarily papal history. These books belonged to Mandell Creighton (1843-1901), Bishop of London (1897-1901).

Provenance
According to Prof. Boyd Hill of the History Department on 16 February 1994, the collection was probably purchased by the Libraries circa 1937. It was transferred into Special Collections in February 1965 according to the Department's Annual Report.
