(Richardson) Eugene Richardson Printing Ephemera Collection (MS 295)
Description
The Eugene Richardson Printing Ephemera Collection consists of published works and printing ephemera of private presses. The majority of the presses are American, but there is at least one European house. The collection also contains material from commercial companies involved in the printing trade, serial publications about the trade, private press directories, and miscellany collected by Eugene Richardson. Most of the collection dates from the second half of the twentieth century.

Provenance
The collection was probably purchased from Hamill & Barker in 1987. Eugene Richardson formed this collection except for the material on the Caxton Club, which seems to have come from other sources. Other material has been physically added to this collection but it has not been arranged and described.
