  • American Alpine Club
    The AAC is a national club devoted to mountaineering and climbing; their site is home to resources for climbers and information on local and national events and programs
  • Climbing Area Index to Guides and Magazines
    Helpful in locating articles in climbing literature. Database is also available in a searchable version (by keyword, state, foreign country, or year)

  • Museum Security Network
    Provides reports of cultural property incidents such as fire, forgery, theft, and looting in wartime
  • Recover Lost and Stolen Documents
    This National Archives site encourages the public to assist in the identification and recovery of lost and stolen materials; provides a list of materials known missing
  • Stolen Books Database
    Database is maintained by the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America
