Scams
Want to check if that message you got from your bank (your credit union, E-bay, that guy in Nigeria) is for real or a scam? Follow this link for a list of current and archived scams. If it will make you feel better, they will also let you file a report, even if they already have the scam listed.
Millersmiles.co.uk (http://www.millersmiles.co.uk/)
We have received reports of a new phish scam targeting U of C Federal Credit Union. As is common in phish emails, this new scam requests the recipient to submit personal account information into a fake website.
U of C Federal Credit Union Security (http://www.uofcfcu.com/security/)

At least two scam e-mails are making the rounds on campus: an email requesting Citibank credit card information and an email pretending to need very detailed financial information to update your Ebay account. Both of these scams are very convincing and at a casual glance appear to be legitimate, as they have used the logos from the companies involved. Remember, never follow a link in an email to a site that asks for personal or financial information. If you are in doubt, call the company at the phone number on your credit card or statement and check.
