Systems Department
The Systems Department is the primary information technology support unit for the University Libraries. The department coordinates the use of technology throughout the Libraries to meet current needs and future directions. These technologies include the Libraries' integrated library system, Chinook; the Libraries web servers; other servers; digital library initiatives; office productivity and library-specific software; and more than 700 computers, printers, scanners, and other associated peripherals in Norlin Library and the five branch libraries across campus. We also provide user support to Libraries faculty and staff in the use of these technologies.
