POSITION

*Manager, Information Commons and Library Systems - Bankier Library*

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
College needs individual responsible to plan, design, develop, and maintain the integrated library management system (Innovative Interface Inc. Millennium) and the Library's web presence. Coordinate the shared management of the Information Commons. Ensure reliable, efficient and effective use of the integrated library system and appropriate library technologies through technical support, problem solving, and staff training for operations/services. Represent the College on regional and statewide efforts to improve library services. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Library Science/Information Service or equivalent combination education/experience is required. Three years of hands-on progressive responsibilities and experience in an automated/integrated library system and information technology, either in an academic environment or demonstrated familiarity with an academic environment is required.

Experience with Innovative Interfaces library systems is preferred. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, office application software, e-mail package and web server software. Working knowledge of web site management, including networking, web programming and script languages is required.

Knowledge of AACR2rev, MARC format, LC subject heading and classification and authority records. Able to produce copy and original cataloging, data maintenance, and authority control in accordance with established national standards.

SALARY

Anticipated Annual Entry Salary is $50,251 with full benefits package. (A4)
